How does it work?

Natural Hair Dye:
Ayumi Herbal Henna Powder provides a beautiful, natural brownish-red dye without the need for harsh chemicals. It delivers a rich colour that requires minimal aftercare.

Strengthens and Nourishes Hair:
Shikakai and Henna strengthen hair roots and prevent breakage. Brahmi and Aloe Vera provide deep nourishment, making hair stronger, shinier, and healthier.

Improves Hair Texture and Shine:
Henna adds natural shine and softness to the hair while also providing a natural conditioning effect. Hibiscus and Amla enhance the texture, leaving hair smooth and vibrant.

Balances Oil Production and Soothes the Scalp:
Shikakai and Tulsi balance the scalp’s oil production, preventing excess oiliness or dryness. Aloe Vera soothes and hydrates the scalp, reducing irritation and itchiness.

How to Use?

How to Use Herbal Henna for Hair

1. Prepare the Herbal Henna Paste Ingredients:
Use 50g of herbal henna powder (adjust according to hair length).
Water, herbal tea, or a mild acidic liquid (like lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, clove oil, Eucalyptus oil ) to mix.
Mixing the Paste:
Add water or the acidic liquid gradually to the henna powder, stirring to form a smooth paste. The consistency should be thick enough to apply without dripping.
Optional: Add a teaspoon of honey or aloe vera gel for extra moisture. For additional hair benefits, you can mix in a bit of coconut oil or olive oil.
Let it Sit:
Allow the paste to sit for 2-3 hours to release the dye if you are using pure henna. (This step is optional for herbal henna blends, as they usually don’t require as much time to release colour.)

2. Apply the Herbal Henna Paste
Prepare Your Hair:
Ensure your hair is clean and slightly damp. Shampoo your hair to remove any product buildup but avoid using conditioner.
Application:
Wearing gloves, apply the herbal henna paste evenly to your hair, starting from the roots to the tips.
Make sure to coat each section thoroughly, massaging gently into the scalp for nourishment.
If you have long hair, you can section it for easier application.
3. Let it Sit
Leave On:
Cover your hair with a shower cap or plastic wrap to keep the paste from drying out.
Let the herbal henna sit on your hair for 1-2 hours (depending on your hair type and desired colour intensity). If you’re using it for its conditioning benefits only, 30 minutes to 1 hour should be sufficient.
4. Rinse and Condition
Rinse Off:
Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. Avoid using shampoo immediately after the treatment. You may rinse with water until it runs clear, and if needed, use a Ayumi conditioner.
Dry:
Let your hair dry naturally. You will notice a deeper colour after a few hours or overnight as the henna settles.
Frequency:
For Colour: Use every 3-4 weeks to maintain colour and shine.
For Conditioning: Use 1-2 times a month, depending on your hair’s needs.
